A bonded sealing washer combines a metal bearing ring with an attached elastomeric sealing section. Under a bolt or screw head, the metal part limits compression while the rubber contacts the mating face. The generated main image shows the construction clearly; it is not evidence of stock, material or sealing performance.
Dimensions involve more than an ID and OD
State the metal outside diameter, bore, total thickness, rubber projection and mating fastener-head dimensions. The relationship between the hole, shank and sealing lip affects assembly. A standard flat washer dimension is not a substitute.
Match the sealing material to the environment
A black rubber appearance does not identify EPDM, NBR or another elastomer. Provide temperature, media, ultraviolet or outdoor exposure, contact-surface condition and expected service life so the project can confirm material and compression requirements.
RFQ and validation
Send the washer cross-section, ID and OD, metal and elastomer requirements, mating bolt or screw, contact face, installation method, quantity, packing and test requirements. For water or pressure sealing, validate the sample in the actual assembly before bulk use.
