Fender Washer
Flat washer with a relatively large outside diameter for drawing-defined coverage or bearing-area needs. State the ID, OD, thickness and material in the RFQ.

A fender washer is a flat washer with a relatively large outside diameter. It provides a larger contact area; appearance alone does not identify a standard or a load capacity. The unmarked image is a product illustration for the wide-OD, flat form. Actual inside diameter, outside diameter, thickness and material must come from the drawing or RFQ.
Give the inside and outside diameter together
The mating bolt diameter alone does not define a fender washer. The RFQ should list the ID, OD, thickness, flatness or chamfer requirement, and whether a metric or inch substitute is permitted. If the washer is intended to cover a round hole, slot or thin mating part, show the hole geometry and adjacent parts on the drawing.
A larger diameter does not automatically mean a stronger joint
A larger outside diameter can change contact area, but it does not establish joint capacity or suitable materials. Clamping force, mating-part thickness, bolt class, washer thickness and assembly requirements need to be checked together. When replacing a flat washer, review the available space and drawing requirements.
Information for bulk purchase
Send the standard or dimensioned drawing, ID and OD, thickness, requested material or finish, quantity, packing, destination and document requirements. For a non-standard size, send a sample or drawing.
