Hook and Eye Sleeve Anchor
Sleeve expansion anchors with an open hook or closed eye end fitting. Confirm the end form, base material and installation dimensions from the drawing.

The image shows sleeve expansion anchors with hook and eye end fittings. An open hook accepts a removable hanging connection; a closed eye provides an enclosed connection point. The two forms should not be substituted merely because an RFQ says “hook bolt” or “eye bolt”. Opening size, eye inside diameter, stud length, sleeve length and accessory clearance can all change the assembly.
State the end fitting before asking for a quote
Specify whether the required end is an open hook, a closed eye, or one form only. The drawing should show the opening or inside diameter, orientation, overall stud length, exposed length and sleeve construction. This is different from a hook-and-eye turnbuckle, which adjusts connection length by thread rather than acting as an expansion anchor.
The end fitting does not establish anchoring conditions
An end shape describes the connection method, not the installation conditions or a working load. Include the base material, hole requirement, attached item, loading direction, installation position and any acceptance documents in the RFQ. For lifting, life-safety or regulated work, the project designer should identify the applicable product and verification method.
Match the sample to the drawing
When sending a sample photo, include a dimensioned drawing or annotations. A distant photo cannot confirm the hook opening or eye size. Bulk projects also need requested material or finish, quantity, packing and destination. We check construction and supply terms against the drawing or agreed sample; the image is not a load or suitability statement.
