J-Type Anchor Bolt
cast-in foundations; dimensions by drawing

J-type anchor bolts have a threaded straight section and a bent anchoring end. They are generally embedded or cast into a foundation to locate base plates, frames or equipment. The product photo shows the form only; it is not a structural design or installation specification.
What the drawing should show
Dimension the rod diameter, thread pitch and length, overall length, hook geometry, bend radius, projection above the concrete and the length datum. Include locating templates, nuts and washers in the RFQ when they are required.
Project engineering controls the installation
Embedment, concrete strength, edge distance, spacing, base-plate holes and installation procedure all affect the connection. Final structural values and acceptance criteria must come from the project design and approved documents.
What to send with the RFQ
Provide a dimensioned drawing, material or property class, finish, quantity, template and accessory requirements, inspection documents and project standard. Production range, packaging and lead time are confirmed for the specific enquiry.
