Plastic Expansion Plug
screw-and-plug fixing; substrate and matched screw details per RFQ

A plastic expansion plug fits into a prepared hole and works with a suitable screw to form a fixing. Selection needs to consider the plug design, screw and base material together. Colour or outside diameter alone cannot identify the correct application.
Identify the base material
Solid concrete, solid brick, hollow masonry and board place different demands on a fixing. An ordinary expansion plug should not be assumed to work in every substrate. Provide the base material, fixture thickness, loading direction and service environment so suitability can be checked against the final product data and project requirements.
Specify the screw-and-plug combination
Hole diameter and depth, screw diameter and length, effective fixing depth and installation steps must follow the selected plug's technical information. The screws pictured illustrate the assembly form. State whether screws are required in the package and identify their specifications in the RFQ.
Material and packaging
Include polymer requirements, operating temperatures, outdoor exposure, colour, packaging and quantity where relevant. Actual material, dimensions, suitable substrates and test documents are confirmed per enquiry. Safety-critical, heavy-load or overhead applications require a fixing system selected for the project's design and approval requirements; a general product photo is not sufficient.
