Rivet Nut
blind threaded insert for thin sheet; grip and hole geometry per RFQ

A rivet nut forms a threaded attachment point in thin sheet or a thin-walled component by controlled deformation during setting. It suits enclosures, brackets and panel assemblies where placing an ordinary nut behind the workpiece is difficult. The body and formed section still require clearance on the blind side.
Select for sheet thickness and hole shape
Provide actual thickness and tolerance, workpiece material, mounting-hole dimensions and hole shape. Inserts with the same thread may have different grip ranges, head heights and body forms. Spin and push-out requirements should be checked through agreed sample testing.
Match the installation setup
The tool, mandrel, setting method and inspection requirements must match the insert ultimately supplied. Do not copy force or stroke settings from another product. Read the rivet nut grip range and hole-size guide when preparing hole drawings and workpiece samples.
What to include in the enquiry
State thread, sheet thickness, head and body form, requested material and coating, workpiece and tooling details, quantity and packaging. Available designs, dimensions, inspection documents and supply terms are confirmed per RFQ. The image is not installation data or evidence of load capacity.
