Sleeve Expansion Bolt
Mechanical expansion fastener with a slotted sleeve, nut and washer. Confirm the base material, hole, length and installation requirements against the drawing or RFQ.

This sleeve expansion bolt has a threaded stud, slotted sleeve, nut and washer. Tightening draws the tapered end into the sleeve so it expands in a prepared hole. The photo identifies the hex nut and longitudinally slotted sleeve; it does not establish the base material, drill-hole diameter, embedment or load data.
Similar names can describe different anchor forms
An RFQ that says only “expansion bolt” can mean more than one design. A sleeve expansion bolt is not automatically interchangeable with a wedge anchor, a drop-in anchor or a heavy-duty sleeve anchor. Send a current part photo or drawing, including sleeve length, cone position, stud thread length and head assembly.
Review the hole and fixture together
State the base material, drilled-hole diameter and depth, fixture thickness and clearance hole, available installation space, and whether the nut and washer are required. A thread diameter does not define the drill hole. Do not transfer another maker’s installation torque to this part. Where a project has acceptance or load requirements, include the design documents and test requirements with the RFQ.
Information for a bulk RFQ
Send the drawing or standard, thread size, overall length, sleeve length, base material and service environment, requested material or finish, quantity, packing, destination and required documents. We will check the supply scope and quotation conditions from the submitted information. The image identifies the slotted-sleeve form, not a particular size or property class.
