Roof Hanger Bolt with Sealing Washer
Roof hanger bolt with a wood-screw end, machine thread and sealing washer. Confirm the substrate, threads, length and sealing requirements from the project drawing.

This roof hanger bolt has a coarse self-tapping end, a machine-threaded end for a nut or bracket, and a sealing washer assembly. It is used where a roof member and an installation bracket need to be connected. Appearance alone cannot confirm suitability for timber, steel purlins, roof panels or a particular waterproofing build-up.
Confirm each thread separately
In the RFQ, identify the machine-thread diameter, pitch and usable length at one end, then the outside diameter, thread form and engagement requirement at the other. Also state the installation substrate, pre-drilling conditions and permitted exposed length. One end’s designation does not define the whole bolt.
Review the seal with the roof system
The dark washer in the image identifies a sealing component. It does not establish an elastomer type, weather rating or watertight performance. Put the roof build-up, hole position, sealing requirement, temperature environment and installation method in the drawing or technical specification. List any required washers, nuts and brackets as mating items.
Send the installation detail for bulk projects
A section drawing that shows the roof construction and bracket connection is usually more useful than an RFQ that says only “solar hanger bolt”. Include quantity, requested material or finish, packing and destination. We check construction, supply scope and quotation conditions against the drawing or sample. The image does not prove material, corrosion performance or installation capability.
